Preserving, Acquiring and Developing
Affordable Housing

What We Do and Why it Matters

We partner with private and nonprofit affordable housing developers, housing advocates, local government entities, faith communities, school districts, the corporate and business communities, public and private investors, and service providers to preserve and increase quality affordable housing options.

We advocate for a policy environment conducive to preservation and development of housing equity and affordability.

  • The supply of affordable housing is decreasing due to market rate conversions and limited new construction.

  • Based on population growth, projected need in our service area by 2030 is 1,200 affordable housing units.*

  • Incomes lag far behind rent increases.
